The goals of this study was to investigate the impact of Edmodo to enhance students' motivation in learning writing. The participants of the research consist of 36 students studying in university in the 2018-2019 academic years. In the research designed in the descriptive qualitative design, the class observation was carried out in the writing lesson, and it was observed that the writing class using Edmodo increased the students' performance and achievement to the lesson. The findings of this study found that students actively participated in writing class. Their high curiosity was proved by the participation of their writing week by week. This research also indicated that most students were willing to use Edmodo and felt that this online platform was proper to post their writing and freely receive feedback privately without being exposed to their friends.

This study examines the phenomenon of cancel culture on social media, focusing on the controversy surrounding the case of Gisella Anastasia's nude video. Utilizing Michel Foucault's heterotopia theory, this research investigates how social media platforms such as Instagram serve as heterotopias that shape new norms and challenge social rules. The study analyzes Instagram's role in cancel culture, exemplified by the Gisella Anastasia case and netizens’ responses. It explores how digital spaces blur the distinction between reality and virtuality, impacting individual freedom and identity formation. Through text and content analysis, this research uncovers power dynamics within Gisella Anastasia's Instagram accounts, @hopsindonesia, and @rananews.id, over specific time frames. The findings indicate that social media functions as a heterotopic space where netizens contest societal norms and challenge the hegemony of identities. It also shows that anonymity encourages damaging comments and perpetuates cancel culture, acting as resistance against societal norms and identities. The absence of hierarchy in social media fosters unbounded behaviors among netizens, sometimes even leading to excessive brutality.

Numeracy is a person's ability to implement mathematics in the home, work and community environments. This research aims to measure the practicality and effectiveness of using E-LKPD in a socio-cultural context assisted by GeoGebra workbooks in improving students' numeracy skills in pyramid material. The type of research used was a quasi-experiment (Quasi-experiment) with research subjects 21 class VIII students at SMPN 1 Kalisat Jember. The practicality of E-LKPD is assessed from the results of student response questionnaires, while the effectiveness of E-LKPD is assessed from the results of students' numeracy ability tests. The use of E-LKPD is said to be practical if the average percentage of students' questionnaire responses is at least in the practical category, and effective if students' numeracy skills are at least in the medium category. Based on the practicality analysis, the results of the student response questionnaire regarding the use of E-LKPD obtained a percentage of 81.67% or were in the practical category. In addition, the use of E-LKPD shows an increase in students' numeracy skills on all numeracy indicators. This can be seen based on the results of the numeracy ability test which obtained an N-Gain score of 0.51 or at a medium effectiveness level. Therefore, the use of E-LKPD in a socio-cultural context with the help of GeoGebra workbooks is practical and effective for improving students' numeracy skills, especially in learning surface area and volume of pyramids.

In Era Society 5.0, Indonesia is faced with the swift currents of globalization, a process of order owned by the global community that knows no boundaries. This is also happening in the field of education in Indonesia which is the cause of the nation's downturn on the grounds that our education does not produce good human resources. National character is something that is important to advance a nation. To overcome this, changes are needed in the learning of the Islamic boarding school program for students' religious learning. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the application of character education in religious learning through a short Islamic boarding school program. The method used is descriptive qualitative by collecting data through observation and interviews. These observations and interviews were conducted with teachers and students at MAN 3 Palembang. Data analysis uses the theory of Milles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study were: 1) At MAN 3 Palembang, they implemented religious learning through several activities, namely book study, speech, al-Barzani, reciting al-Qur’an, reading Yasin, evening tutoring, and performing arts; 2) The characters that can be produced from these activities are religious, responsible, disciplined, confident, creative, communicative, curious, polite, courteous, patient, sincere, humble, independent, honest, respectful, creative, and innovative. The findings of this study are that the flash Islamic boarding school program implemented at MAN 3 Palembang can build student' character to become better individuals.

The increasing industrial waste was caused problems for the environment. Bagasse is a solid waste produced from the sugar industry. Vinasse is bioethanol industry liquid waste from molasses which contains much nutrients. The vinasse and bagasse in this study was developed into biochar. This study aimed to determine the effect of vinasse addition on biochar characteristics. The yield and characteristics of the biochar were then compared. Based on gravimetric, pH, and SEM-EDX analysis, the result indicated that adding vinasse to the biochar was increasing yield, water content and ash content, lowering pH, and tend to increase nutrient levels (carbon, nitrogen, and potassium). The biochar produced from bagasse and vinasse by pyrolysis had a yield of 6.682-9.406%; water content of 7.0-8.2%; ash content of 4.8-13.6%; at pH 8.4-88; carbon content (C) of 65.07-80.88%; nitrogen (N) content of 2.06-8.66%; and potassium (K) levels of 0.00-2.15%, while phosphorus (P) levels were not detected in SEM-EDX analysis. Based on the consideration of the highest levels of nitrogen and potassium elements needed by plants, the optimum biochar was obtained from bagasse with a vinasse of 7.5%.

Tes merupakan salah satu instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur ketercapaian pembelajaran matematika. Dengan adanya pengembangan paket tes geometri, guru dapat mengukur kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa sehingga guru akan lebih mudah dalam merancang pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan penalaran matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan paket tes geometri pokok bahasan bangun datar untuk mengukur kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMP yang valid, praktis, dan efektif, serta untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMP dalam menyelesaikan paket tes geometri bangun datar. Penelitian ini mengkombinasikan penelitian pengembangan dan penelitian kualitatif. Model penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah formative evaluation yang terdiri dari enam tahap, yaitu: preliminary, self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group dan field test. Setelah paket tes geometri yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif dilakukan penelitian kualitatif untuk mengetahui profil kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan lembar validasi, tes geometri, angket respon siswa, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa paket tes geometri yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif. Analisis kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMP menunjukkan siswa berkemampuan penalaran matematis tinggi mampu memenuhi enam aspek penalaran matematis yaitu analisis. menyatukan/sintesis, generalisasi, membenarkan, menarik kesimpulan, dan mengevaluasi. Siswa berkemampuan penalaran matematis sedang mampu memenuhi empat aspek penalaran yaitu analisis, menyatukan/sintesis, generalisasi, dan membenarkan. Siswa berkemampuan penalaran matematis rendah tidak mampu memenuhi aspek penalaran atau hanya mampu memenuhi satu aspek penalaran yaitu analisis

Learning mathematics is frequently regarded as difficult by students, resulting in a lack of problem-solving ability. This problem occurred at SMPN 8 Jember, where, based on the results of observations, grade VII students have low problem-solving skills due to the conventional learning model used. If the problem is not addressed immediately, it is feared that it will continue with the next generation of students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of PBL model of the peer tutor method assisted by card problems on mathematics learning outcomes in seventh-grade junior high school students with quadrilateral material. This research includes a quasi-experimental design. The data collection technique uses pretest and posttest tests to be tested with the paired samples T test and regression test (ANOVA) on the SPSS application. The results of the paired samples T test in the experimental class gave a sig value of 0.000, while in the control class it was 0.003. The sig value for the regression test for the experimental class is 0.014, while the sig value for the control class is 0.033. These results show that the PBL model of the peer tutor method assisted by card problems is more effective and influential than the PBL model of the peer tutor method to improve student mathematics learning outcomes. The study concludes that incorporating card problem learning media into the PBL model of the peer tutor method produces effective results in terms of quadrilateral material mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstrak Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Cooperative Learning (PBCL) beserta perangkatnya yang terdiri dari RPP, LKS, dan THB yang valid, praktis, dan efektif kemudian menguji pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa SMP. PBCL adalah hasil modifikasi sintaks PBL dan Cooperative Learning. Adapun sintaks model pembelajaran PBCL adalah mengorientasikan siswa pada masalah, mengorganisasikan siswa ke dalam kelompok-kelompok belajar, mengorganisasikan siswa untuk belajar, membimbing kelompok bekerja dan belajar, menganalisis dan mengevaluasi proses pemecahan masalah, dan memberi penghargaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan dan dilanjutkan dengan penelitian eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi aktivitas siswa, observasi keterlaksanaan model dan perangkat pembelajaran, angket respon siswa, dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran PBCL beserta perangkatnya memenuhi kriteria sangat valid, praktis, dan efektif. Kepraktisan diperoleh dari hasil observasi keterlaksanaan model dan perangkat pembelajaran. Berdasarkan dari uji t-test diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran PBCL materi persamaan garis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Abstract This study is based on the lack of students ability in solving mathematical problem. According to that background, this study is aimed to develop a learning model of Problem Based Cooperative Learning (PBCL) along with the learning kits, RPP, LKS, and THB, in a valid, practical, and effective problem solving format, and to examine its effectiveness towards junior high school students’ ability to solve mathemathical problmes. PBCL is a syntax modification result of PBL and Cooperative learning, itself is orienting students on problem, organizing students into learning groups, organizing students for learning, guiding for working and learning group, analyzing and evaluating problem solving process, and giving appreciation. This study used developing research continued by experiment research. The data collection techniques were an interview, student activity observation, the implementation of a learning model and kit observation, a student response form, and a problem solving ability test. The result of this study showed that the learning model and kits of PBCL fulfill the criteria of being very valid, practical, and effective. According to the T-test experiment, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the PBCL learning model on students’ ability to solve mathematical problems.
